OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAZara Dwinger is a director.

She was born and raised in Amsterdam.

Her love for film is neverending.

And that’s exactly what made her decide to go to the Netherlands Film Academy after her Anthropology studies, her work for online cultural magazine hard//hoofd and different film internships.

On the academy she co-directed the feature film Ik Geloof Dat Ik Gelukkig Ben (2015), and directed the short coming-of-age films LIV (2016) and SIRENE (2017). The latter was selected for International Competition at the prestigious Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and won several prizes at others.

She also loves telling mini-stories in commercials, going crazy in music videos or think of concept for new projects.
